Yoga Styles  -Find your Rhythm

We offer a variety of yoga styles within our studio. If you are new to yoga, you may find it helpful to clink the link below and read the descriptions of our yoga classes. This will help you understand what to expect and decide which class you would like to try.

Yoga Classes

If you've never been to a yoga class, you may be a little apprehensive about what to expect when you show up at the studio. We hope the following description and these few tips remove any discomfort you may have prior to attending your first yoga class.

  • You will enter a warm, friendly, welcoming environment. We are excited to introduce you to the studio, and the benefits of yoga with our community. We invite you to come as a guest and leave as family.

  • Please arrive at the studio at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled class to allow plenty of time to get yourself comfortable and settled without feeling rushed. Doors lock at the time of class, in order to ensure the safety of our clients' belongings.

  • When you walk through the front door, you will be in the reception area. This is where you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will assist you with:

    • class purchase if you haven't already done so online

    • checking in if classes were already purchased online

  • Please leave any personal belongings in one of the cubbies conveniently located in the reception area. We ask that you disconnect from technology and shoes while in the yoga studio,

  • The yoga studio is a place for self-care and self-focus so please allow the yoga room to be a "zen zone." We have plenty of space outside the yoga room to socialize and connect with friends.

  • Your instructor will begin class on time. Please arrange your schedule accordingly. You will not be able to enter the yoga studio once the class is in session.

  • If you are taking a heated class, please be advised, you are going to sweat! Please bring a towel to use throughout class.

  • All classes are 1 hour in length. Please allow yourself time for the final Savasana pose - it is the yummiest part of class.

  • No talking during class please.

  • You and your 'yoga mat neighbor' are on different journeys. Stay focused on you and what is happening on your mat. Your instructor is there to guide you. Do what you can and rest when you need to. This is YOUR practice. Only you know exactly how your body is feeling today. If you don't feel comfortable trying a particular pose, skip it! Nobody gets a prize at the end of the day for doing the most poses. Take care of your body the way it needs to be nurtured.

  • There will be music playing in all of our classes. Music is selected by each instructor to complement the class they have designed. Just as the classes vary with each instructor, so does the music.

  • Some of our instructors use mirrors as a means to check for proper alignment and some prefer to shield the mirrors and allow you to feel for proper alignment. Follow your instructor's guidance.

  • We have a shower in the studio for your convenience. Please feel free to use if needed.

  • Our studio is a place of healing. Open up your heart and enjoy the journey!
